' 'It was in the year of 1998 when the government went broke. Problem here and problem there. Third week of May 1998. People who wanted to know what was really going on in Indonesia that day, joining and rushing off thru' channels such as #jakarta and #reformasi (which later on turned out to be nuthin' but a fuc*ked up channel). Some people kept asking and posting on such an important information. Then people got bored, sick, and tired. They wanted to change a "hot topic" as soon as possible. Opened up another channel ? Why not ?

I'm not really so sure as I don't know much about it, but some people told me that the channel itself was found by a guy nicknamed dreampop. He's frem Hamburg, Germany. Then came the followers who filled in and invited more people to join in. I, myself, was invited by a girl nicknamed Odelay. There were some crowds at that time and as a new channel, of course we still did not have BOTs and we still haven't figured out whether we would like to keep this channel alive. Couple days later, there were some people coming in and out. When I first joined the channel, there were dreampop, pop-indie, odelay, skagrrl, rancid^ and couple guys i could freshly remembered. Most of the people got hooked up with the channel due to the transition of music. They shared infos about music, talked about it, and I guess that's the main reason why this channel popped out.

There were some bad things, good things, and funny things that have been happening on this channel. Bad things happened when the channel got taken over by other people and they kicked us out and banned us. Sometimes though, up 'til now, I still don't know why we have enemy. hahaha. Hey, it's a brand new channel and those suckers ain't got no brains to create one so they want our channel. I guess so.

We also have some good things about this channel. We didn't have BOTs before to guard our channel, so me and my buddy pop-indie had to stay there for awhile until the IRC server was sick at us and we got kicked by a "ping-timeout". When he went out to eat or school, I stayed there. Not me, but my nickname. Then when I gotta do the same thing, he watched out for the channel. And we thought to ourselves, man we could not do this all the time. I guess the channel would be over soon. Butta couple weeks later, we had some BOTs and I didn't know who got them. We knew who made them. Rayvan made them and thanks to him. He also owns this other channel called #warteg. So check it out !

Some people were mumbling like why they aint got no OPs and all. Well, here comes the story.

The story was so funny, telling us what has been happening thru' all this month. You know, it was a new channel, so we really had a good time. Too excited though. All players were given OPs. Then came this guy from europe and we played tricks on him. I didn't know if he was for real but he came out to #jakarta and started talking sh*t as we promised him an OP if he'd done that. We then kept promises and OP-ed him. I knew that he would kick us and when he really did kick us out, I was just laughing so hard..hahaha. and All players were like...damn, F**k !! Si*t!! Hahaha, I toldcha guys before. Then came #dream-pop. After couple minutes perhaps this european guy was bored as hell and he left. We came back again to our #dreampop.

The other story was this french guy who told people in #dreampop that he would bring women and the price was the same. Fuc*ing OP !! I didnt know who OP-ed him but he got it and he kicked the si*t outta us. I was again laughing my ass off hard ! People then back to...mumbling, talking si*t, bithcing around.

Then guess what? when we came to #dream-pop, some people were there already and they kicked us out. Hahaha. All of them including me. People started to get pissed and logged off IRC. hahaha. All poor people. Lucky me this guy from Atlanta goes by a nickname Sicko (or somethin'?) did /msg me and told me to join #starship. And I didn't how he did it but he succesfully removed the key to the channel and we were able to stay there again. I've never seen this guy again but he is more than welcome to join our channel in the future.

And then this muthapukka puta rata, nicknamed uler. He used a deakin U server and somehow he took over our channel, but me and pop-indie got his tail and banned him outta server. hahaha. #dreampop once again was "still" alive.

The last funny story was this guy named |MYTHOS|, our beloved enemy. Hahaha. He came in to the channel and told all the OPs that he's never been an OP before and he would like to be an OP. I guess he thought of as for being an OP he could get a pu**y to lick. You stupid f**k. hahaha. Anyways, a fool gave him an OP and once again he banned all the people outta there and he placed one BOT so we couldn't mess around with the channel.

Hahaha, we moved out once again and tried to get an act together. We established this channel called #garage. There were me and a guy nicknamed bread. We decided to go back to the channel and tried to get it back. Lucky us though he didn't put any BAN on us. And somehow this stupid BOT named Tekken was outta there so we could take over back the channel. What the heck, |MYTHOS| was so nice to us not putting on BAN but we gotta "BAN" him so others wouldn't be fooled around again by his bullsh*t. I did ban him and he proclaimed me as his truly enemy. Hahaha. He did flood me and all that sh*t and he kept messaging me and talking sh*t. I just ignored that fool though. And couple days later he had his own channel called #cute and it was taken over by other guys. He came in to #dreampop and accused me for being a sucka who took over his thing. I said, man I aint gonna play around with other channel. But he was so positive that i was the one who messing around with his channel. Some sorta revenge he believed. Came rayvan and he banned him. Hahaha.

Adios man. But poor him that he was banned in all over the place 'cause he shout us that he would do TO our channel, #warteg, #jakarta, and #bawel. Hahaha. What happens with that guy now? He's back and he runs a channel named #beken. How's that channel? Don't ask me 'cause I was banned there. And my bad reputation for inviter and lamer is continued throughout #bawel where my ass is banned permanently. Hahaha.

Well people, I guess that's all for our history channel. So try to keep #drempop alive as our "next level" is to go to Bandung to see ourselves IRL (In Real Life). Hahaha. Just kidding. Laters poppers !!
